Accident guide

Stay calm. Act safely. Get clarity early.

At the scene of the accident

  1. Secure the scene, switch on the hazard lights and put on a high-visibility vest.
  2. Call 112 immediately if anyone is injured and provide first aid.
  3. Photograph vehicle positions, damage, marks and registration plates without putting yourself at risk.
  4. Record contact details, insurance information and witnesses; do not make a premature admission of liability.
  5. Call the police if the situation is unclear, someone is injured or the damage is substantial.

What to do next

The damage should be professionally documented before repairs begin. Contact us as early as possible. We will clarify whether an inspection is appropriate and what type of documentation is useful.
